Rats in drains: pest control and patch lining repair

Finding the rat entry point

These Ground to Gable project photographs show a rat seen during a CCTV drain investigation, pest control equipment in an inspection chamber and preparation of a drain patch liner.

Patch lining to seal a hole in the drain

The patch liner was used to cover a hole allowing rats access through the drain. The repair addresses the entry point alongside the pest control work, rather than relying on trapping alone.

The photographs show the investigation and liner preparation stages. The liner preparation image shows the repair materials and packer before installation.
