Water main replacement: excavation to reinstatement

Replacing an underground water main

This Ground to Gable project follows a water main replacement through excavation, installation and reinstatement. The photographs show the exposed trench, the removed metal pipework and the ground after backfilling.

Water main and drainage groundworks

The new blue water pipe can be seen in the excavated trench. Temporary barriers separate the working area from the surrounding paths. The old pipework removed during the replacement is shown separately.

Our Civils team carries out excavation, underground pipework and reinstatement as part of wider groundworks projects across Kent, London and the South East.
